Ice Master Pty Ltd, ABN 55 131 868 892 of 49-51 Rocco Drive, Scoresby, VIC 3179 (Icemaster) warrants to the original owner/user that any commercial ice machine it sells (the "Products") shall be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal and proper use and maintenance service as specified by the original equipment manufacturer and upon proper installation and start-up in accordance with the instruction manual supplied with the Product. The warranty commences on the date upon which the machine is sold by Icemaster whether to the end user or to an intermediary.
The obligation of Icemaster and the rights and remedies of the owner/user under this warranty are exclusively limited to the repair or replacement of parts or assemblies that in Icemaster’s opinion are defective and reasonable direct labour charges associated with their repair or replacement within two years of the date of sale in the case of Staff Ice Systems, Carotti, ITV or Icesta branded icemakers, or one year in the case of Brema or Cornelius branded ice makers.
The labour warranty shall include standard normal time labour charges at the product location only and shall exclude charges for travel time, mileage or other supplementary charges. Any labour service required to fulfil the warranty obligation must be performed by a refrigeration service company qualified and accepted by Icemaster.
This warranty does not include parts or labour coverage for component failure or other damage resulting from:
- External electrical power failure or miswiring to Product for any reason.
- External water supply failure or plumbing problems to the Product for any reason.
- Failure to install the product with an approved third party water filter
- External drain line malfunction.
- Adverse operating conditions as set forth in the owner/user manual for the Product.
- Failure to clean and/or maintain Product as set forth in the owner/user manual for the Product.
- Warranty does not include cost of freight, postage or handling of parts to or from Icemaster and the product location.
All claims for labour or parts must be made through Ice Master by completing the Ice Master Warranty Claim Form (click highlighted link to download) at the above address.
The defective part for which labour reimbursement is claimed, together with the service invoice, must be returned to Icemaster within fifteen days from date of service to be eligible for labour and parts warranty coverage. All replacement parts must be approved parts supplied by Icemaster.
Incidents of failure that do not require replacement of a part shall be explained in sufficient detail on the service invoice to identify the failure, but Icemaster will not reimburse or be responsible for the payment of service calls which are the result of blocked filters, product abuse, misuse or , inappropriate or inadequate maintenance of the product.
All claims shall include the product serial number, model number, original date of installation and customer identification.
The foregoing warranty shall not apply to:

Any part or assembly
a) that has been altered, modified, or changed,
b) that has been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect or accidents, or
c) any Product on which the serial or model number has been removed or altered, or
d) any Product that has been installed and/or maintained which is in any way inconsistent with Icemaster’s technical publications; or,

any Product that has been installed or is located outside the standard warranty coverage area. This warranty is valid in Australia only unless otherwise agreed in writing; or,

Reasonable wear and tear – where a component has worn out due to heavy use within the warranty period it shall not be deemed to be a manufacturing defect or a defect in materials or workmanship; or,
- Any machine that has not been maintained regularly in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and with regard to the prevailing environmental conditions.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND OTHER WARRANTIES
Icemaster assumes no liability for misuse or inadequate maintenance of the Product. In no event shall the user be entitled to recover incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for inconvenience, ice purchase, rental or replacement equipment, loss of profits, water damage, or other commercial loss.
Warranties stated above are the only warranties made in connection with the sale and distribution of the Products.
ANY AND ALL OTHER EXPRESSED, STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
The warranty information set forth above shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. The warranty, as stated, is extended only to the original owner/user and is not assignable to any other owner or user.
